Default Volunteer XV DMR

I'm really liking the looks and specs of the new M&P 15 Volunteer series, especially the DMR. I've been wanting a 20" barrel AR-15 for a couple years now but just haven't decided. Been thinking Colt, FN, and PSA but this new S&W XV DMR might just be what I've been waiting for. I am curious what profile the barrel is, the specs state it has a rifle length gas system and 1/8 twist but nothing about its profile.

I believe that barrel is classified as a heavy barrel. No M-4 cut outs and it looks straight from the receiver to the flash suppressor.
