Riser for vortex optics strikefire ii
I have a m&p15 sport ii and want to put a vortex optics strikefire ii on it. I want to be able to use my iron sights also. Can anyone tell me what riser I will need for this setup? Thanks in advance!

Depends on how you want to set up the optic, if you want true co-witness, or lower 1/3 co-witness.
It appears that it comes with a mount for lower 1/3 co-witness out of the box.

Graggy - I have one mounted on a Ruger AR pistol, and it 1/3 co-witnesses with the Magpul pop up sights I have on the gun. I believe there is an optional full co-witness mount available for extra $$. They are a nice sight for the money.

M&P 15 and Vortex Strikefire II
The optic comes with the option for co-witness or 1/3rd.

My Viper PST
I mounted my Vortex Viper PST this way. I set/sighted the iron sights first.
