Just picked up a real nice used M&P 15. How are the factory mags that were provided with the rifle when new marked?

According to a previous thread, rifles were coming with NHMTG 30 mags that might, or might not, be rejects from USGI contracts. I haven't heard of any, or seen any, S&W logo stamped AR mags.
C-Products was the vendor on the 5.45mm Combloc rifles.

Good, thanks. There were two NHMTG mags in with the stuff that came with the rifle.
Rejects? Care to elaborate?

http://smith-wessonforum.com/e...671050043/m/16610864 see midway down for speculation regarind the red markings on the followers. Wouldn't really be unusual. Mags rejected or overrun on military contracts make up a large number of the "G.I." mags in circulation.
