Did I Just Join a Really COOL Club?
I feel like I did! After a multitude of S&W revolvers, lots of semi-auto bottom feeders, a Mini 14, AK 47 and so on, I just picked up my first AR 15!
S&W M&P 15 (#811000) I've got allot to learn but I'm ready to explore the world of EBR's... rags

Welcome to the world of EBR's. They are addictive with the accessories you can add. Very nice rifle you have. I have the M&P15T version and love it. Have fun!

Looks sweet, that configuration is a no-no here in CT. No flash hiders, threaded barrels or adjustable stocks

Congratulations to the S&W M&P15 club!
Break her in gently and she'll always purr like a kitten. This means quality brass cartridge ammo of good reputation for about 300-400 rounds. The Federal bulk .223 stuff at Wally World is a good, "low cost" way to go.
After than, you can run all the steel case Wolf stuff through her you want and she should never bobble . . . but smooth that action out first with brass case stuff.
Also, M-16/AR-15 rifles run best wet and clean. Keep her well lubed and she'll probably never, ever jam with you.
T.
PS: Whatever you do, stay away from the Magpul stuff . . . especially the 30 round polymer magazines . . . all their stuff is both addictive AND thus, hard to find.
I'm making a 110 mile round trip this afternoon to a gun show to feed that addiction!
Enjoy!!!
