It's an inexpensive Uncle Mike's from GM, a left handed model for mounting on the driver's side of the console.
Sigma's been riding around with me on a regular basis now.
What gun??

I didn't see a single 40P in this entire thread. Not sure if that's good news or bad news for me? Picked this up new in 2001.

My SW9P, Yes finally a SW9P!
I bought this new January '04. I have a trigger job and polished barrel ramp. It has the front night sights too. I still shoot it and carry it all the time. Its a pretty nice set-up.
I have not seen any good pictures of these on the net either.
Enjoy!

Here is my SW40VE with the rail adapter and white light
In my Leapers UTG shoulder holster hanging on my bed post next to my Darth Vader alarm clock.
On the night stand.
On the night stand with the quick release 60 Lumen white light detached.
On my leg.
On the vanity under the chimps coconut tree lamp.

New to the forum kinda, I ended up buying my uncles SW40P.
Don't have a lone shot as of yet, I'll do that when I polish the slide and barrel. but a family shot will do for now

Did you buy it new or used? I thought S&W stopped shipping new Sigmas in the plastic case.

Really nice pictures you all have. I carry Glocks on and off duty and really do love them. However, there is something about the Sigma that makes it my favorite. I do wish I could carry it instead.
Here are a couple from another thread. Regards, -Coop

Nothing special.
Looks standard, but has a 5# trigger with all springs in place. Yes, even the pigtail. Outer sear spring has been replaced with a brass spring of the same size. It's softer than the original but does the job nicely. Got it at U-Plumbit for a buck. Sear is polished and has some lubriplate 0 on it. It's almost too light, I shot it just fine before I did all that.

Sorry but I don't have a pic at the moment but I think I may have the oldest Sigma here. My late father bought in in Oct 1994, I have the original box and receipt it is chambered in .40S&W.

Hello from PA!
Picked up my 40VE at a recent gun show. Put about 200 rounds through it so far. No problems at all. Great little gun!

If anybody would be interested I have a +1 round base plate that will only work for the "non-enhanced" Sigmas. I got it to use with my 40VE but it is a no go. It has been laying around for a few years now, I'm willing to give it away. PM if your interested.

I've had my SD40VE for about a year now. It is used for EDC and also sits next to my bed at night with the LED light attached. Gun was 100% reliable before mods and also after a few mods. Galloway stainless guide rod and 20 lb spring, Wolff 3.5 striker spring, Hogue grip sleeve, polished barrel and feed ramp, and LED light when needed. A steel M&P rear sight and Galloway sear spring are to be added next.

Joining the fandom
Put my $ down on a VERY slightly used (less than 50 rounds through by appearances) SW40VE today and impatiently awaiting Tuesday so I can pick it up. Still all stock, no mods than can be detected by myself or the shop. As soon as I get a chance to get a good clean and lube on it, I'm going to head to our local range, run a box of 165 and one of 180 through, to see how it handles and which I feel better about, then may try the seer spring mod/polish and probably polish the ramp, just to smooth the feed. Picking this fella up to replace a High Point .40(no one laugh, it was way more reliable than most reviews make it out to be. 0 ftf, 0 fte, 0 stovepipe) that I had to part ways with a few years ago when the finances got tight.
REALLY looking forward to getting this out to the range and putting this one through its paces and having a great new sidekick!

Picked up an S&W SD9 VE for a smaller carry piece, first thing I did (before I even shot it) was yank the hinged factory trigger and installed the Apex one piece polymer they have-a trigger snob I am not just the two piece feels like I'll break it if I squeeze too hard, however I did dry fire the gun with the original and then the new Apex and the difference in pull is nice.
Comes with two mags paid $349 total for it:
For the price it's a nice solid little pistol

Seen a few pieces with pinky extensions...link to suppliers/vendors, please?
Also, which Glock model shares the accessories compatibility with the SD9VE?
Thanks!
