Default Aimtech Base S&W Sigma

Hello all,

I am new and I just bought a SW9VE. I am asking if
anyone has anyone has experience with the Aimtech
Base APM-17.

Aimtech Base S&W Sigma Full Size Matte - MidwayUSA

Semi Auto Pistols

If it fits SW9VEs, interferes with take-down, comes loose bothers your hand or anything else that with make it useless. I did a search on here and didn't find anything. I asking because I thought maybe this mount was not too popular.

Thanks.

I have no experience with that brand of mount, but I think it looks ugly to me.

I have a laser that can mount to the bottom of my Sigma on the rail that is there . It's not very pretty either.

It works, but I rarely use it.

Auto-Laser Handgun Laser Sighting System

He is also a member of this forum. Very small, great fitting and priced right.

Welcome to the forum.

What do you intend to use that thing for anyway? I gotta agree with the above post, it ain't pretty.

I've also got a laser that mounts on the Sigma's rail. But it looks good. The gun is for HD and the laser is very useful in the house at night. Like any other red laser, not much use in the bright sun though.

I just got a look at these and im also interested in maybe buying one. I think these would be awesome with a red dot attached to it. Is the sigma an accurate enough pistol for a scope or red dot?

I plan on using a Millet 1" tube red dot
with the Aimtech. Both would together would
ad a pound of weight to the Sigma. I think it
would be a pain in the butt when you rack the
slide or take the slide off. Plus I saw on Midwayusa
the reviews for some of the Aimtechs for other pistols
didn't get very good reviews.

I'm also interested in the Aimtech. If nothing else, to pull out a scoped .40 while my buddies are plinking with their .22's. LOL
I have to admit that it would probably be just for looks.
