New Laser Sight for Sigma
Just noticed Arma Laser Shopping - Products by ArmaLaser Inc. has a new laser specifically made for the Sigmas, no adapter needed. Probably no holsters available either. Should be available 4/15.

Small, compact and it blends in with the sigma's design. I'm not much for add-ons. But this one I like. I'm going to pre-order one.

Like I keep saying, if one of the kydex holster makers would get on board with the Sigma series with add on lights, rails, lasers, etc. they would make a killing! Something like this only NOT made by Fobus and without rivets.

The Arma Laser is a very nice looking unit. I like the Crimson Trace also, as it does not increase the width of the pistol at all.
I thought it very odd that these laser sighting device manufacturers include warnings like this:
IMPORTANT: LASER PRODUCTS MUST ONLY BE OPERATED WITH THE SAFETY LABEL APPLIED TO THE FIREARM. (yeah -- right)
http://www.crimsontrace.com/files/ma...tion-guide.pdf
If I am pointing my laser equiped Sigma at a body, I'm pretty sure my intention is to put a least two chuncks of lead into his chest-- or I would not be pointing it! Exposure to laser radiation and eye damage is of little or no concern to me-- besides the bad guy can't read these warning stickers. I guess we are suppose to let the bad guy read the two warning labels before we turn the device on and put a little red dot over his heart . . .

Are you refering to the Armalaser? If so call Rick at Armalaser and see what he says. If you want me to call him I can do so as I personaly know him.
To put a group buy together is easy. You must commit to buying the bulk quantity and take orders from everyone. Usualy someone that is a reputable business does this as not many people want to send their money to someone they have no background on.
If it is the holsters you are refering to call me as I can put together a S&W forum member special price.

I read on another site that Armalaser offers a group discount. Armalaser has offered a group buy discount as follows:
Minimum 5 orders = 10% discount
Minimum 10 orders = 15% discount
off of their regular price of $139 (not including shipping).
Does this help anyone here? I know I'm interested...

Our Sigma lasers will not ship until this Friday. They got behind on production and were not ready for shipment this past Friday. They could have e-mailed us to let us know.

WANT TO USE SEPARTE LIGHT & LASER ON MY SIGMAS
want to use a streamlight tlr-1s light and a separate laser. The LaserMax LMS-UNI looks like it would hold the tlr-1s but will it fit in the Black Hawk Serpa holster? I can't find a rear sight laser for it (already checked with Laserlyte) or a grip laser (Crimsontrace only has one to go in front of the trigger guard). Does anybody make a guide rod laser for it? HELP!!!

The problem is...the tact light.. Streamlight m4 or Insight m4. these products will fit the sigma.. Laser.............. don't know about that.. check Autolaser, they have a laser that will fit Sigma and Kydex type Holster.

Thx, TDR. Just tried your office but believe you're closed on Fridays (I'm stuck at work). I have a Laserlyte already installed on my Sigma9VE. Do you need it shipped to you to make a holster for it?

Purchased the Armalaser unit a couple of weeks ago $126.00 from OpticsPlanet.
Now looking for a holster. Meeting with a Ft. Worth custom maker this week to check price and turnaround. Holster maker "Fowlds Gun Leather" know nothing about him at this time. If it works out others may want to check with him since he will have a custom mold by then.

I have tried the Armalaser SR3 model. The first unit installed easily and when I took it to the range it performed well while I was adjusting the point of impact. By the time I had placed about 20 rounds downrange the laser began to dim. Sometimes it was bright other times it was dim or even off. It did not seem to matter if the firearm was fired or not.
The manufacturer was very customer friendly and as soon as I contacted them they arranged a replacement.
The second unit arrive in a timely fashion. It too installed easily and took just a few rounds at the range to get zeroed in. Placed about 30 rounds downrange without any other issues. Point of aim did not change at all after the final adjustments were made.
I brought the pistol home and began to carry as my primary weapon. About once or twice a week I would turn the laser on for a couple of seconds to insure it was still working. After several weeks of this I turned it on one evening and the beam shone bright for about a half second and then went out never to come back on again.
I have now sent Armalaser a second request for a replacement under their 5 year warranty. I am hoping that this will be the last I have to request. I am unsure whether they are still making modifications or the results I am having are typical.
Does anyone else have a history they can share ?

I have now used the third Armalaser SR3 unit for about a month. I know this is a short period of time, but need to keep this thread going and those interested need an update.
After about 100 rounds and a couple of weeks of cycling the switch each day, I have no failures.
As I stated earlier this may be due to continued R&D on this product. I also noted that the Armalaser web-site now lists a few styles of holsters designed for the SD-SW Sigma.
I would be interested in hearing if anyone else has a comment on the SR3.
Thanks

Here are the latest results of my actions involving the SW40VE and the Armalaser SR3.
1st photo is 25 rounds with standard sights in use at 21 ft.
2nd photo is 5 rounds after aligning Armalaser SR3 at 21 ft.
3rd photo is SW40VE with Armalaser attached.
4th photo is SW40VE with Armalaser in Desantis holster.
I have now been using this combination for 3 months as my primary CCW. Very pleased with this combination.

I have a sw40f. I used a glock 22 lasermax guide rod laser. Everything fit except the spring. I used the one already in the gun and it works great. Shot 2" high at 50ft using 180gr

Final report on Armalaser SR3
I have now had my third replacement unit on my SW40VE for 14 months. No failures of any type. Holds Zero perfectly. Battery life seems very good. Considered a new version made by the same company, but love this one so much I may just have to buy another SD40VE to try another laser.
Good job Armalaser.
Thanks for a great product.
