Thumbs up Sigma update: Passed the 800 round mark!

Crossed over the 800 round mark today with my 9VE. I feel the gun is well broken in, and I am very confident with it. Gave her a bath, fed her a full magazine, and she's resting comfortably in the night stand.

I wouldn't say that my shooting is great with it, but good, and getting better each time out. I still maintain that this design is truely ideal for Home Defense.

She performs flawlessly! The Timex watch of guns!

Happy spring break to all S&W owners!

Lee

Congrats. Practice truly does make perfect.

Maybe we should have a "1000 rounds club" post and sticky it to the top.

I'm at 842 as of last night. I had my very first Failure to Load. It was after four rapid shots and my hand was getting tired. I chalked it up to a limp wrist. The cartridge went into battery when I released the slide.

I trust this weapon with my life.

BTW, it's an SW9VE.

This isn't my idea, but I like it:

mlk18 suggested we have a 1000 rounds club. Anybody like it, I do. 1 or 2 more trips to the range, and I'll be over the mark.

I know a guy on the other smith board who crossed 11,000 rounds with his 9VE; no failures and original magazines too. He still trusts it with the honor of, the "night stand".

Thanks to all,

Lee

I have 200 down and 800 rounds to go on my SW40VE. I so happy with the pistol I am now looking for a SW9VE. The lowest price on a new one is $364 less rebate. This is in California. I am trying to find on for around $325.00. I only paid $250.00 for my 40 with rebate. I know I am cheap but I think I can get one for around $325.00.

Regards,

I've broke 6,000 with one of my SW40GVE's, and have about 2,000 through the other. Thus far, I've had 2 failure-to-feed's through the one with 6,000+ rounds through it (overly dirty gun - hadn't been cleaned for about 600 rounds), and one FTE through the other (a handload - assuming it was an ammo problem since it hasn't done it since).

They are obviously very unreliable pieces of junk. [/sarcasm]
