Default S&W Customer Service

So I had been having problems with my sigma shooting low and left, After much research I found this forum and got my awnser about there bieng extra molding under the front sight. Well I sent it Back to S&W and 9 days later I got it back and its looks perfect, and to boot they put on a new ejector and new guide rod and spring. Im am happily suprised with how good and prompt S&Ws customer service is. Now I just have to get out and shoot the thing.

Thumbs up

Congrats on it getting back so quick! I was gonna say fixed so soon, but you haven't verified that yet. I'm pretty confident that all is well. That is why I now only own S&W. They care!! Let us know how it shoots!

What is your serial?
Feel free to leave off the last few digits... I'm curious if this was a production run issue, or something that just happens occasionally.

Thanks for the info

My serial number is DSD397"X" but it does seem to be that a few had the same problems with extra molding getting underneath the front sight.

We can argue about a lot of things here, but S&W customer Service has been consistently better than any other firearms manufacturer I've ever dealt with and I've been around the gun game long enough to have dealt with quite a few.

I originally posted about having this problem. I checked my serial#
DSH21XX. I think it is a random problem due to the was the sight installs.

It definitely fixed my problem with shooting low and left. Hope you have the same results.

Do the serial numbers go down alphabetically? So if I have one that starts with RBT would that be a fairly new one?
