Default SW9GVE had to be returned.

The feel of the handgun is better than most that I checked out before my purchase.I was aware of the hard trigger pull but did not care for the gritty feel of it which has gotten worse since the purchase.Once returned I hope it is greatly improved because it is a fine gun except for the trigger.

I fired 250 rounds through my 40ve and the trigger smoothed out it's fine now.

I recieved the SW9GVE back Friday. It only took 11 days for shipping both ways and the repair. As stated earlier, the trigger was getting worse with use.SW needed to change out the entire sear assembly for the repair. The trigger pull is still a very hard pull as before but it is also much smoother. As long as it can remain smooth, this is a very nice weapon with outstanding customer service standing behind it.

Research showed me that the sear slides on part of the poly frame and I believe that is where the gritty feel comes from. Any roughness will just grind grooves into the frame and gradually feel better with some cost down the road.

The factory replaced the whole trigger assembly on mine with some polishing on that ramp. If I had the right tools I'd do a little more.

I believe there is too much spring pressure which makes for a hard pull and aggravates any drag.

Also check the slot in the sear that rides on the two pins. If it is rough you can smooth it by rolling up a 1" wide by 2" long piece of 600 grit wet or dry and sliding it up and down the slot until it is smooth. Roll should be a tight fit in the slot.
