Default Sigma Caliber Conversion

What would it entail to convert a Sigma 40ve into a 9ve?
Would it be as simple as just replacing the barrel?
It would be nice to just swap it out for range shooting since 9mm ammo is cheap.
Anyone know?

nope.............can't be done, frame is built different.....the only one you can do is the .40 to a .357 sig and vice/versa(.357sig to a .40)

What bulletproof said, negative for sigma.
Round here 9mm aint much cheaper & 40 is more plentiful anyway.

I figured it would be too good to be able to do that.
Here Wally world has plenty of .40 & 9mm in stock
The 9mm is $10/50 & the .40 is $15/50
I wish they carried .357 as plentiful & cheap for my S&W 19-5

Is this the absolute only conversion possible?

I just bought both the 9mm and S&W40. With the cost of a sigma being so cheap compare to a high end gun, you can own two sigmas for the price of one high end gun. Plus if you ever have to send your sigma in for warranty work you still have the other one as a back up.
