Trigger will lighten up the more rounds you put through it. I was at the range Friday. 1150 rounds I have through my SW9VE. You get used to the trigger. If you can figure out the Sigma, you can figure out any handgun. Simga will make you a better Marksman.

Good Luck.

Default Sigma

First of all...Welcome aboard. I asked virtually the same question last month. It is takine some getting used to but it's getting more managable.

I guess most pistols are easier to shoot than the Sigma but since the wife and I are used to revolvers, the Sigma seems easy. Our other guns are a 442, 642 and a 1920s M&P 4th change.

Hi, and welcome.

It will not hurt to dry fire your 40, in fact it will help, not only to build up your trigger muscles, but also to smooth out the trigger pull.

I'll share a dry-fire tip - you don't need to rack the slide all the way back for the next 'shot' but can just move it about 1/4" until you hear/feel a slight 'click' and the trigger is ready once again. This saves a bit of time...
