Ported with night sites??? After first night fire you're blinded by muzzle flash. Interesting non the less.

That's a myth. Ported guns have no more muzzle flash than non-ported. Trust me, it's a gun-forum-urban-legend.

I willl second that, I have fired in a night drill with Clint Smith and Massad Ayoob (at different times) muzzle flash does not blind you. But a SureFire light pointed at the target will make the sights look as if they were painted on your shooting glasses. Night sites work fine even with muzzle flash.
