Default SD9 10 rounds vs 16 rounds; same pistol?

Hi folks

I have the Sigma 9VE. Thinking of getting the SD9.
I have plenty of 16 rnd mags. If I get the SD9 with the 10 rnd mags, are the SD9 pistols(10 or 16 mag models) EXACTLY the same?
And I'm assuming the mags are interchangeable?

(Reason being if Washington gets nuts soon, I want to have 10 round mags for both the Sigma 9Ve and the Sd9)

Thanks,
Mike

The mags are essentially identical. Worst case scenario is you may need to buy the followers for the SD pistol to put into the Sigma mags. I doubt that that will be necessary.

Floor plates and followers are the only difference. They function in either though. Also your mags will still be legal and will only adversely effect new mags production.

Now the second part of my question:

Is SD9 model 120900 (10 rounds) the EXACT PISTOL

as model 220900 (16 rounds) ??
