Default Sigma may have impressed a Glock guy.

Yesterday, I took my recently purchased 40sve to a local range. One of the police firearms trainers noticed the Sigma and asked if he could shoot it because he had never shot one. I let him and he proceeded to place a very tight 10 round head shot group in my torso target. He admitted that it shot great and really liked the way it felt in his hand. Needless to say, Sigma owners already know this. BTW, he never said a word about the trigger. I don’t know if he’ll add a Sigma to his collection but I don’t think he’ll bad mouth them in the future.

I think everyone should fire one before they start bad mouthing them. I have both the 9ve and the 40ve and I really like both of them have had no problem out of either one. And that in its self impresses me. One happy customer.

The trigger takes some getting used to. It is less than my Taurus 38 snub though. I can hit a standard sheet of paper at 7 yards with my Sigma 9mm. That's good enough for me!

Thumbs up

A few months ago, I shot the siggy and a Glock 40 cal side by side.

The Glock guy shot mine for the first time ever, and said "man, I'm surprised, ain't nothing wrong with this gun at all"!

My point is, they're good guns and lots of fun to shoot.

I've said before many times that the siggy's ergonomics are awesome!

I shot the .40 sigma. It impressed me for what it is. It's a reliable, accurate, and an easy choice for a $300 handgun.

I think that quite a few bashers do shoot the Sigma before going off on it. But, I also think that those that do shoot it first, only shoot it a few times. And because they are not accustomed to the gun, they can't shoot it very well and then start bashing it.
Of course, there will always be those that bash it because it is fashionable too. Even though they probably haven't seen one...other pictures anyway.
I love mine, a 40VE.

Default Sigma Bashers

Sigma bashers did me a great favor, I was able to snag one for $200 LNIB and two mags. A couple months later I was able to buy 4 mags for the SW40VE for $65 shipped. Now if I can find a deal on some night sights and a green laser...
