Default What about 3rd Gen Semi-autos?

Could someone tell me where on the forum one goes to ask about or discuss the 3rd Gen autos, particularly the 10XX models?

They aren't M&Ps so I didn't think they belonged there...but they aren't Sigmas either and I don't know what the SD line even is.

Inquiring minds want to know (LOL),
Dave

This forum that we are in now is a sub-forum of the general S&W semi-auto pistol forum. The general S&W semi-auto pistols forum is where there seems to be all the info about third-gens.

You can get there by clicking on the "Smith & Wesson Semi-auto Pistols" root thingy above just below the website's logo, or go to Smith & Wesson Semi-auto Pistols and look just a little lower on the page and you'll see the general discussion area for S&W autos.

The way the page presents itself on my browser, all you see is the subforum links unless you physically scroll down. If you don't scroll down, you can miss it.

The SD models- a cross between the M&P and Sigmas, a better trigger than the Sigma but usually not as good as the M&P. A few other differences, like the grip more similar to the M&P. I have the SD 9 but can't compare to other S&Ws, don't have any.

Ross,

You are absolutely right. I thought I remembered another forum for the semi-autos but couldn't find it. Like you, when I enter the general semi-auto forum all I see are the links to the 2 sub-forums. The general forum is out of sight below the bottom of the screen. Now I don't feel like such an idiot...a not un-common feeling with anything computer related. (LOL)

Dave
