Default Tactical light. I want the unpossible.

Or at least I bet it's unpossible.

I have two firearms with rails. The SW9VE and most recently added a XD-9 Service.

What I'd like to do is have ONE light that I could use on either without having to have one of those infernal adapters for the Sigma.

Does such an animal exist?

I'm not wanting anything in the NC Star class of stuff either.

Cool. Thanks Chuck1217. That's going on my Christmas wish list.

Edit: but wait, the SD9 has a standard rail, right? SW9VE has an oddball rail.

May be, I don't have a sigma. Seems the SD is so similar, it might have had a similar rail. I just looked and all it says is 'universal fit', maybe you could email S&W and find out.

There's this...

Rail Adapter Smith & Wesson Sigma Matte

Then it will match the SD Picatinny-Style rail.

The micro90 is a good light, it doesn't have the grip on-of witch, but on each side of the trigger guard there's a temporary on button, and a constant on in the middle. It's small, barely extends past the end of the muzzle. I saw it for $59 online, a search would bring it up for sure. But with the cost of the rail adaptor...

The rails are completely different between the SW9VE Sigma and the SD9. Nothing will fit both. The Sigma is a rail of its own. Different from any pther.

The SD9 rail is the same basic configuration as most of the rails on any other pistol brands. Picitiny style.

HA! This is exactly what I was looking for and what brought me to this forum.

I bought a "new-to-me" Sigma a while back and I have a light that is meant to mount on a Block....now I know how to put it on my nightstand pistol. Sweet!

Thanks, it took me longer to register than it did to find what I was looking for.
