Slide sometimes not locking back
Took my Sigma SW9C to the range on Saturday. Fired 120 rounds through it, all rounds fired fine. I'm still having issues with the slide not locking back though. This is the first time i've fired this gun since I got it back from S&W. Is this a problem with the magazine? Is it the ammo i'm using? Winchester white box 115 gr ammo. I noticed it happened at least once with one 10 rd mag and once with my 16 rd mag. Maybe i'm hitting the slide lock with my left hand somehow? Sigma fires perfect though, i'm happy about that.

I have the same problem with one of my mags. The magazine follower pushes up the slide lock and the one mag i have doesnt get the job done. I tweaked a part of the magazine case to allow the follower to come up just a hair more and it works now. By the way I have three mags and the two that came with the gun work fine. The one that failed was from gunbroker, says S&W on it, but its probably a knock off.

Take the mags apart, clean, little lube, and reassemble.

Could be a worn follower.

How did you tweak it?
I have the same problem with one of my mags.

Look at the empty (fully disassembled) mag from the top side facing forward (as it would be loaded into the pistol). At what would be the "top, right" corner there is a small metal tab bent at a 90 degree angle which stops the plastic follower from coming up any further. I used a pair of pliers to remove this tab which allows the follower to spring up far enough to engage the slide lock. Hope this helps!

Yup, I see what you are talking about. I'll have to give that a try. But first I'll try bending it up a bit to see if that works. Thanks...

Ya, I tried the bending, it gave way, which led to the removal. haha... works fine though, feeds smooth, no issues with it. good luck.
