Thumbs up Testing the SD9 at an outdoor range

One of my gun buddies just bought a used SD9 a couple of weeks ago for $300. Now he wants to sell it. We are going to an outdoor range today to do some random target shooting. If,and I say "if" I like the way it shoots and responds to competition like shooting,I "might" buy it. I really want a 5906,but for $300 I just can't take a chance of not getting an SD9 at this price!

Thumbs up

Well,i'm going to buy it!!!
I can't buy it right this minute due to a sudden illness to my son last night. He will be ok but it really s**ks to not have health insurance.

Everything was great at the range yesterday. We went thru almost 550 9mm rounds,120 .38spl rounds, and about 100 .40 cal rounds. There was 3 of us shooting. The SD performed flawlessly! I hit almost everything I aimed at,but competition shooting is a pain in da a**! I don't know how those guys do it.Anyway, the SD,IMO,is very close to my Sigma.I have to say the SDs trigger feels alot better tho.

Overall,I would buy a new SD if I had not bought my Sigma.Being that this SD is used and felt good to shoot I just could not pass it up.
