Default SD9 striker removal/cleaning

Does anyone know if the process for removing the striker on the SD9 is the same (basically) as it is for the M&P? I have found some videos on how to remove the striker on an M&P (and it is easy) to be able to clean out the striker channel, but I can't find one for the SD9.

I don't currently have an SD9 to "experiment on" myself, or I'd give it a shot. I am planning to buy one (9mm version) for a truck gun, though, before they vanish.

Thanks,

Ken

Check out apex tactical's YouTube video on the SD spring kit install. It includes a part on removing the striker.

Thanks...that was what I needed.

Actually, since I would be just removing the striker to clean the channel, and not replace springs, I don't think I would need to remove the extractor...and the rest of the procedure seems to work just like the M&P.
