There are many different Sigma models, more than most people realize. I do not believe there is a single thread that lists them all let alone offers up photos. So I am starting this thread in hopes that all of the good posters and lurkers or the Sigma section will get out their digital cameras and add to the thread. When you add pics I will check them off the list. If I am missing a model please let me know that too. I would prefer photos taken of guns owned by actual forum members versus just searching Google for pics. I have to believe that we can get at least one picture of every gun on this list. If you do post pics for reference only, please mark them as such.

IIRC there were also two 357 Sig versions of the original Sigma, the SW357F and SW357C.

Good stuff Class III, I had completely forgot about the .357 sig model. The SW357V. But I do not believe they made a compact .357 (if they did someone please prove me wrong).

I have been looking for one of these .357 sig versions and have yet to see one around Indpls, would love to buy one if I ever find one.

Was sent a nice picture of a SW380 Sigma. Not the best design S&W ever had, but it did pre-date the .380acp pocket gun craze by many years. Which of course proves S&W has always had visionaries in the design department. Again, not mine.

Check that out. No frills just a plain point & shoot pocket pistol.

I decided this thread needed some green. OD green that is. Again, not mine. But I am looking for one. About 6-7 years ago you could buy the SW9G at my local gun shop for $225 on sale.

Added another Sigma model that I remembered while posting on another active thread; the S&W Disaster Kit. While technically it features an SW9VE Allied Forces model, I think it's worth adding to the list. There are other package models as well, I just don't remember their designation. I know one came with a Sigma flashlight and another came with a Sigma folding knife. Anyone have one of those kits?

Nope, it was standard on the SW9E model. Carbon steel slide with a melonite coating on everything. Then a year or two later S&W came out with the SW9VE in order to lower production costs and retail pricing.

I use imageshack.com. Create an account, upload the photo, click on full size image or direct link to image, copy the URL of the photo, come here and make a post, click on the little picture of a little picture in the tool bar and paste the URL there. Sounds harder than it really us.

ooo and u are missing i know of 2 models not sure on series and all but theres the sw9t and sw40t they both consist of a titanium slide making them about 20 percent lighter theres a pic in another thread on here cant remember name tho

Just like the SW380, the SW9M was ahead of it's time. Years later every company from Beretta to Taurus (except S&W ) started making slim compact 9mm's. Did you read that S&W? I'm sorry the SW9M didn't work out, but maybe it's time to give it another go.

Here it is, the SW40Ti. This one belongs to forum member colt_saa and is in the ultimate picture thread. I am using this image with his permission. He was told when he purchased this gun that only 5 were produced! Perhaps the rarest of all Sigmas. colt_saa also suggested I add product codes to the models listed about. Which is of course a great idea that I will start working on when time allows. Thanks colt_saa.

What better way to show a Sigma "Allied Forces" model than to post a picture handed out by the British Ministry of Defense. This is a female Afghan National Police Officer in training. As I am sure most of you know the US Army contracted with S&W to supply several thousand Sigma's to Iraq & Afghanistan for use by their national police and border patrol agencies. The Allied Forces model feature a stainless slide and barrel, with melonite coating on the slide.

Nope, Auction Arms. There's a couple on Gunbroker right now but they are over priced IMO. The SW9M's weakness was it's slide. It just could not handle the pressures of the 9mm and a lot of people found fractures and cracks after just a few hundred rounds. Plus people didn't seem to like the guttersnipe sights and the magazine. I still say S&W was on the right track, but the gun needed a little more beta testing and engineering.
