I am no longer a Sigma owner
I have owned several over the years, the last of which was a beautiful all black SW9E. In fact I owned that very gun an hour ago, that is until I gave it to a friend of mine. He has gone shooting before but does not own a gun. He decided it was time and came over to get some advice. Instead he left with that SW9E and a pretty big grin on his face. That now makes either 4 or 5 Sigma's I have given away to people interested in firearms and our 2nd Amendment freedom. I have been blessed in my life and have more guns than I have keys on this keyboard. So giving away the occasional Sigma to get more people into shooting (and voting pro-gun) is well worth it. Plus now I get to begin the hunt for my next Sigma bargain! This time I am thinking SW9G or maybe SW9P. Better go call a few local gun shops.

Very nice. I gave a wheel gun to a family member because they don't have a firearm and don't have the money to spend on one. Feels good to help them out, come to think of it, I deserve a new gun..............

Gotta love these heart warming stories!!! Bet you got a big grin on your face from seeing his grin. :-)
Just how many different types of Sigma Models were there??? I know of the V and VE but that was about it.
Edit: Also know of the "F" and "C" models, thanks to Vipermd for those.

It's always great to hear stories like this. I had a friend loan me the dough for my first gun, it's been a long time repayed, and I couldn't thank him enough...now being in a better position I enjoy paying it forward whenever I have the chance and means.

Copper06: there are at least 23 Sigma models, possibly more. I am trying to document them all in this thread when I have time. I still need to compile more data and pics.

Well well, there are kind, level minded people in this world. I was beginning to wonder watching the news, and reading the papers everyday.
Very nice sir, very nice.....

Good man!!!
My guess is the smile on his face was worth way more than the price of the gun. Thumbs up to you!

Update
My friend took the gun out on Saturday and put 200 rounds of Remington 115gr FMJ's through it. He called me afterwards and couldn't stop talking about how much he loved the gun. Then he told me the only thing that he didn't like was that I never told him that 200 rounds was not going to be near enough ammo.
You are all correct, the joy of giving is often better than the joy of receiving. Plus now I have another shooting buddy!
