Default SD9 speed loader?

Hello all.

I just bought my first pistol an SD9 and am loving it.

Could anyone recommend a good speed loader (and any other essential gear) I can get?

Looking forward to contributing to the forums.

Hey Figin, Congrats on your first and welcome. I'm new to the forum myself although I'm active elsewhere. I've been eyeballin' the SD line for a while now. FYI, apparently S&W has discontinued the SD line. It sounds like you are referring to a magazine loader. The only one I know of is by a company called Lula (may be Butler Creek). Search "Lula magazine loader" and you should find them. BTW, "Speed Loader" refers to an accessory item for quickly loading a full revolver cylinder as opposed to loading 1 at a time. You'll learn a lot here just by hangin around awhile.
Oh yea you gotta get a quality holster for your intended use.
And one more thing... click on "userCP" and then go to the Sigma and SD section for good info on your weapon. Good luck!

Most will say Uplulua, costs about $30- I use a $10 HK Model thumb-loader- I think it's model 941 but the package says "for most 9mm.." it fits SD9 mags fine...SR9c as well.

You're absolutely right, I'm still learning my terminology!

I was a little late to the SD party, although I still preferred it over some of the others. I probably would have waited for the Shield if I had known it was coming. I also bought a Kindle 2 3G two months before the Kindle 3 came out. I need to read more. )

Thanks for the info on the loader, I'll check it out.
