Which Glock model is the same size as the SW40VE?
Could someone advise me please which Glock model is the same size as the Smith and Wesson SW40VE? I think I remember seeing someplace that there is a Glock model that is the same size, but IDK where. My actual goal, or the point to this question is to ask if the SW40VE would fit in a formed leather holster made for that same size Glock model. Thank you.

I wonder if this might be the link you are looking for...
Smith & Wesson’s Improved Sigma 9mm Auto
Have to scroll down to around halfway but there is a table comparing the Sigma with the G19. That being said, it is most similar to their compact line of pistols. As far as a formed leather holster goes, one issue I could see is the difference in shape of the trigger guards. Hope this helps!

Based on the 40VE, I'd say the G23 is the closest.

I can carry my 40E in some of my G19 holsters, but not the form/ fitted ones. It will fit with most of the cordura or nylon stuff (Safariland).
Reasons being:
1. Square vs round trigger guard
2. Glock = square slide/ round frame
Sigma = round slide/ square frame
Best,
-Coop

Glock 23 is the closest but (as others have said) if it is a formed leather holster it would need to be very loose to fit. There are a number of SW40VE holsters on the market already and some of them are very reasonable priced. Search for terms such as SW40C, SW40E and SW40F as well.

Yep, the 19/23 is the closest.
