I just picked up a new SD9VE and think I will like it. I already have the older SW9VE and love it. The newer SD9VE makes a gritty/grinding/squeaking noise when I pull the trigger back only 1/4"-1/2". It appears to be metal scratching on metal or is it possible that a spring is compressing in this short distance. If you were standing a couple feet away you probably could hear it squeaking clearly. I don't have this noise on my older Sigma and was wondering if it is something that will work itself out after putting some rounds thru it. Or should I be oiling something within the trigger assembly. Guess I will know after a couple hundred of rounds but I am sure you guys already know the answer to this.
