Default Question about versacarry...

I recently purchased the SD9VE along with a paddle holster for general overall carrying. Over the last few days I have seen some information on the generation 2 versacarry "holster" (if you can call it that). Most reviews are either love it or hate it with no real middle ground.

The love it side are those who carry pistols with external safety features or pistols very similar to my SD with DAO trigger and the heavier, longer than normal pull.

I'm looking for something that is excellent in concealing my pistol but not for everyday carry. Any thoughts or opinions or even personal experience with the versacarry would be great.

Thanks!!

Personally, I don't like the idea of my skin's oils and sweat being against the metal of my gun all day long.

Doesn't look like it would be very stable, or, despite the claims, comfortable. IMHO the crossbreed style IWB is the best compromise for comfort & concealibilty-whether you carry every day or only occasionally.

I don't know if I can get past the lack of a true trigger guard with my pistol. Even with my trigger pull I wouldn't want to take that chance.

I am considering the "trapp" holster from foxX. They seem like next to nothing regarding the bulk aspect and still just under $50. I'm still doing some research but hope to make a decision soon.

I have a Gen 2 Versacarry for my SD9VE...I have no problems with it..
It conceals as well as my Sticky holster but feels more secure...
The Sticky is a wee bit more comfortable, what with padding, but not a huge difference..
No problems with sweat (but it is the middle of winter....) I'll see later on..
