SD9 VE Auto Forwarding?

By that do you mean that the slide is released when the magazine is seated?

I don't know...mine doesn't. But I don't know that I'd consider it an "issue" if it did. As long as it fed correctly, I guess I'd think it was a good thing...saves a little time on reloads.

Mine does it but I have to SLAM the Mag. just like the M&P.

I have never had it not load though when it does auto forward.

Some call it a feature, it's not a feature.

I tried several times, and it took about 7 hard loads for it to auto forward...never on the first one

it is simply the slide stop lowering and letting the slide go forward on its own simlpy from the impact of the magazine being slammed into place.

I've had it happen to an XD, Beretta, Bersa, M&P, etc. If it does have one I'll know soon when I pick mine up, but it wouldn't be the first nor last gun to do so.

I've had it happen to me here and there with my SD40. Is that normal?

Only happens on my SD40VE when I slam the magazine. Also when I'm shooting I practice not letting the chamber empty, saves time by not having to send the slide home.
