More questions about the Apex spring kit

I thought I would start a new thread with some additional questions, in case someone who had replied in the other thread didn't go back to it again.

I've read some comments, here and elsewhere, that some have experienced some light strikes over time from the Apex striker spring. Apparently Apex has now upgraded the striker spring, and supposedly that is no longer an issue. Some, however, have used the other supplied springs and didn't use the striker spring, because of that concern.

What is your experience with the striker spring? If you didn't use it, is there still a noticeable improvement on trigger pull?
