Default new guy

so im new to this forum. I just purchased the sd40 ve. out the door for 330. darn right. im normally a 1911 man but have been looking for a polymer for some time. and the price was perfect. I like the way it feels. im heading to the range in a few hours to see how it shoots. a lot of mixed reviews. several ftf complaints. but much of those seem to be user error. and not the weapon. im pretty excited. il post a range report this evening.

thanks all for the welcome.
so like I mentioned earlier ive read a lot about ftf on the sd40ve. im happy to say that 250 rounds down range and I had no issues. 200 were federal 180gr fmj. the other fifty were hydrashok jhp same weight. not a fan of the trigger pull but apex has a kit for me in the mail already. nive 2-3 inch groups all the way out to twenty yards. so other than the heavy trigger wich will be remedied shortly. this was a great purchase. for 330 out the door I feel like I stole it. im normally a 1911 and a colt (op revolver circa 1940) man. but thi is the best deal ive seen on a striker fired weapon. so im more than pleased. I might just start to cc this instead of my kimber ulta carry. thank you smith and Wesson for this great piece of hardware
