Default apex trigger

I see a lot of post about he apex a e t trigger, I have been to apex web sight and don't see it. Would like to do the galloway spring kit, stainless guide rod, and the apex trigger. could someone post a link for the trigger. Possible comments if you've done this combination of mods

Try this link.

I actually installed the aluminum AEK trigger on my SD9VE and I can't say enough good things about it. I would suspect that the AET trigger is as good especially with all of the reviews in this forum. Apex has a lot of nice products.

I installed the Galloway spring kit. It didn't live up to their advertised rating. Took it out. Bought the Apex spring kit, the trigger pull is 5.5 lbs.

Agree. The Apex spring kit lightens the pull up nicely.

I've never had a Galloway kit, but I agree 100% that the Apex trigger and spring kit are the way to go.

I put the Apex kit in a SW40F. Not a huge change, but the trigger pull is smoother and that makes it seem lighter.

talk about extreme differences. My brother bought a 7mm long range custom built target rifle. trigger is slightly more than 1 pound. almost 0 take up and 0 over travel. vs the sd40ve at 8+ pounds long take up. incredible. did find the trigger and springs. the next thing in line for sure

Even though you won't get the 1 pound pull with almost 0 pre-travel but with the Apex AET Polytrigger for the SD and the spring kit you can at least expect a trigger pull of around 6lbs and 0 over-travel. The pre-travel is reduced too. Some people here put the Aluminum trigger for the M&P series in the SD and say it works just fine but Apex did not recommend that - they released the the poly AET for the SD Series for a reason.

You might want to check this thread. They discussed the topic M&P trigger in an SD around post #35/#36
SD Triggers And Mag Extensions Coming Soon From Apex

My personal experience with the Poly SD Trigger and Spring Kit:
Reduced pull to slightly above 6 lbs. and no over-travel at all. Pre-travel is reduced too but I didn't measured it. But it definitely improved the trigger performance and with that my accuracy. I can highly recommend this mod for the SD.

Yes, absolutely buy the AET for the SD not the AEK for the M&P. I am definitely not encouraging anyone to put anything other than what Apex suggests. I only installed the AEK in mine because I was impatient and didn't want to wait for the release of the AET. Although the AET was released for the SD line there are still possible modifications to be done to make it work correctly since it is not an OEM part. Easily remedied though.
