Default Wowza!!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the SD9-VE.

Bought the pistol in Jan 2014 and had two trips to the LGS

range with 200 rds down the pipe. I hate indoor ranges. We

just got back from a weeks vacation up north and we put just

under 1500 rds down range. We shot Federal, WWB, PMC, AE,

Blazer, and Herter's with steel cased and aluminum cased

Tula and Blazer and with re-loads Freedom Munitions and AQA.

Weights were 115 Gr. 124Gr. and 147 Gr.

With all this shooting we had 1 I'm talking 1 failure to feed

which I know was my fault for not racking her hard enough.

I had gloves on because the mosquitoes were horrendous

and the rack slipped before I could pull it all the way back.

I should note the FTF was with the very first rd of the

Tula, but the next 199 went off without a problem.

I also noticed when loading the Tula in the magazines the first

10 went in easy the last six were a pain, but at 9.00 bucks a

box .18 cents a round I'm not complaining.

To say I'm impressed is an understatement!!!

Thank you Smith & Wesson for a very fine pistol.

I bought the ammo online in bulk (1000rds)

and took advantage of a free shipping promotion.

I paid 9.16 a box or .1832 cts a round.

Use the ammo search engines it's out there you just have to keep looking.

Didn't buy the Tula from Freedom they sell Reman and New.

Right now Freedom has free shipping on any order over 100.00

You can get 500 rds of Reman for 112.50 or .22 cents a round

it's brass cased and reloadable. To put it in perspective the best

price around these parts on a box of 50 is 15.00 + 1.00 tax

that's 32 cents a rd your going to save 10 cents a round X 500

that's 50.00 more bucks in your pocket.

I can tell you that Freedom Munitions Reman ammo is good

stuff I've shot 400 rds and had no issues.

Riverman99-
Thanks for your post. I love mine so far, too. Do you then agree that this gun can eat anything, including steel cased? Seems some guns have no issue with that (steel) ammo, and this gun appears to be another.

there is a ammo the SD9-VE will not eat.

Good Shooting!
