Default Holster for SD9VE

I was at the local Gander over the weekend looking to cash in a gift card. Found a Uncle Mikes tactical reflex holster to fit a MP. Asked the gun guru behind the counter if he could check to see if a SD9VE fit the holster. Fit like a glove. The gun guru said that was nice to know because if someone needed a holster he would know this would fit.

Thanks for the tip, papadave. If you don't mind, please post the item number and a link HERE to keep all the accessories in one thread.

I bought an Old Faithful for my SD40VE, hoping it will fit my MP40c.
Bio is right, my serpa fits both my SD, MP AND My MP Airsoft guns (great fun with the 12 year old...and teaches good habits).

If I were a betting man, I'd bet custom fit Kydex should fit either or.

i know my SD alien gear wont fit a M&P. its custom molded and fitted for the SD. down to the slide serrations and stipled oval by the takedown mechanism. it wont line up the same with a M&Pc.

also have to remember the M&P c is smaller framed than the SD. the FS 4.25 inch 9/40 m&p holsters take a SD. not sure on the other way around though.

I am curious as to if the MP will fit or not, understanding it is molded to your SD.
I understand the C is smaller than the SD. The Serpa works without issues...(which, is not molded.... )

Can't hurt to try, I may just order another for the 40c...

instead of old faithful try the alien gear :P that way if your EDC changes u can just send in the old shell and get one for your new carry gun

I'm actually thinking of just ordering an Alien for my 40c.
That way...no swapping of shells.
I can carry either, depending on which holster I wear.
Looking for an AG coupon code....

what i was saying if you ever sell the the 40c, and get say a glock 36. AG will let you send in the 40c shell and send you a G36 shell free, i think you just pay one way shipping. its part of their triple iron clad guarentee

one of the reasons i went with AG in the first place

Yep, I understand that.
I just got an email back from OF. Normally, they said 3-4 week turn around.
They have an additional 1-2 weeks now. It was supposed to ship by 3/21, and I'll get an email if it does.
If it doesn't, I'll call/email and cancel and ask for a refund, and just order an AG for the 40c. I no longer plan on carrying the SD anyways....

LOL...
I shoot my 40c better.
And I have more than triple the round count through my SD.
It's just a better, natural feel/shot for me.
I may replace the APEX trigger in my SD back with the factory (keeping the Apex spring kit) in to see if that changes things.

i have a stock jointed trigger in my SD and the spring kit. i also have the galloway 22lb guide rod. im shooting alot better now than the stock configuration. comparing old targets to my recent ones my grouping has tightened quite a bit
