Default SD9VE ultimate Stress test.

Hello SD9VE friends. It was my birthday and what did I get? Ammo, lots and lots of 9mm Ammo and 5 days off from the office.
WoW! Means I had 1 week time to shoot the SD9 in excess.

I got the SD9 new from Gander Mtn in June 20 and shoot about 600 rounds until last Monday.
My SD9 has the Trigger spring set from Apex installed.

Shooting diary:
Monday 7/14
10:00 am. – 12:00 am. 240 rounds of PriviPartizan FMJ 115gr.
1:30 pm – 4:30 pm. 150 rd Seller&Bellot FMJ 115gr
Tuesday 7/15
11:00 am. – 12:00 am 100 rd Seller&Bellot FMJ 115gr
2:00 pm. - 4:00 p.m. 300 rd Tulammo FMJ 115gr
Wednesday 7/16
10:00 am. – 1:00 pm. 450 rd Tulamo FMJ 115 gr
3:00 pm. – 6:00 p.m. 250 rd Tulamo FMJ 115 gr and 200 rd American Quality FMJ 115 gr
Thursday 7/17
10:00 am. – 11:00 a.m. 100 rd private reloaded ammo (Co-worker) FMJ 115 gr
2:00 pm. – 7:00 pm. 650 rd Tulammo FMJ 115 gr
Friday 7/18
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm: 250 rd Seller&Bellot FMJ 115 gr

The Smith & Wesson SD9VE is a wonderful tool. It shoot 2690 rounds without a single problem. Every time a load and every time a bang. No problems at all.
I cleaned the gun only once a day after shooting.

Still looks shiny.

Sounds like you had a great time.
That's a lot of mag loading. Hope you had more than the 2 mags that came with it.

I had a Sigma back in the day. Bought it used, don't remember over what period of time, but I put 2,000 of my reloads thru it without a hiccup. I've had several hi dollar 9's that wouldnt do that!

I'm guessing this was not at a firing range ?
If I had a place at home or close to shoot I would have to use my beer money to keep ammo.
I see you shoot a lot of Tulammo was it brassMax or the steel case I am finding only the BrassMax now for $24 a 100.
Happy Happy Happy Birthday

Haha Thanx micocyco for your birthday wishes.
Tulammo was steel
I built me in the back of my yard a little blinking range. The range is good for pistol ammo and up to 30 yards distance. I don’t shoot rifles there.

I had a lot of fun. 2 friends from Europe are visiting and since they are not allowed to kick gravel without breaking the law in EU, we all together including both neighbors had fun.
It’s all about having choices and having real choices but this would be a differed story for an other day. Choice means always choosing between 3 things. Means I can freely choose from this, that or nothing at all.

I shoot normally about 300 rd a month with my handguns. The SD9 was a present and stays Home or in the vehicle depending what I am doing or going.

I carry a Roger SR40c or a Walther PPQ as a CC. I shoot and carried all my life Walther pistols. The SD9 convinced me that American gun smiths know their business.

It is nice to live outside the city limits, having land enough for the hobby and friends enough to share.

No I have to clean the mess on my little shooting range.

Happy birthday, and congrats on all the shooting fun. Save all that brass, and you can reload most of it.
