Default Trouble loading your mags?

Haven't seen this posted in a while do thought I'd toss it in.
See too many new owner with problems. So...

Listen up you newb's!

Can't load your mags fully?
Are you such a girly man?

Just kidding, new mag springs can be tight so one of the first things any new semi owner needs to purchase is a Maglula UpLULA Universal Pistol Magazine Loader.
Saves so much time and wear and tear on your thumb.
Also allows you to apply more pressure for compressing the springs.
Single stack or doublestack, it works on them all.
Simple to use too.

Or just be patient. After a while of loading and reloading or letting them sit loaded the springs will break in and everything will be fine. But yeah the Uplua loader sure seems to be a nice addition to the range bag and money well spend. Me personally rather spend that money on ammo and shoot, but I was always different than the other kids.

Nothing against the Uplula, but you can also simply rest the base of the mag on a solid tabletop while loading. As Steelhat has noted, in a short time the spring takes its normal set and the loading effort goes down appreciably.

Default Uplula Works

Yes, the mag loader works great. With advancing age and arthritis in both my thumbs, the mag loader is worth every penny I paid for it.

Before I had the Uplula, I would sometimes load my mags one round short of capacity until they broke in.

Some of you may want to load them by hand, but after loading 3-500 rounds for a range shoot, no thanks. I value my thumbs more than that. The mag loader is fantastic.

Mag loaders maybe great but it is also , I think , important to be proficient at loading them by hand.

Also very true, but if I need to load more than a couple of mags, the loader comes out.
