Default The Future S&W

I wonder if the day is near when we will change the receivers like grips.
I miss being able to change grips to suit my mood, if I want to.
Or maybe the entire grip/mag well assembly will just come off so I might snap on a wood look stock.
Today's plastics can do a reasonable job of mimicking anything.
I miss making my gun my own. I believe this is why cerecote or whatever its called I'd so popular. But I firmly believe the only reason to paint a gun is to hide something. And that's OK too.

Beretta's pocket 9 has interchangeable polymer shells over a steel serial numbered trigger group. Pretty neat.

The new P320 from SIG goes the same route like the P250.
