I have a friend with a S&W Sigma 9mm that is 11 years old. It is not the two toned model as it is all black. It has only been fired twice and had lived all is life in the box it came home in. She wants to sell it so what price point sounds fair. I don't want to take advantage of a friend. Any help would be welcome. As you can imagine it's in pristine condition.
It's an obsolescent "value model" gun that has been superseded by a new value model that is often found on sale for under $300.
Assuming (as reported) pristine condition, retail for her gun on the street is about $225. A gun store would put it in the case at under $300, and would offer her about $140-160 cash.
Me personally would not buy it at all - for several reasons, so it's $ 0.00. The SW was not a historical Model and the following and better SD is already in stores for $299.00 and I have seen in a gun show a SD9VE for $ 280.00 brand new with a second mag. Academy sells it for $ 319.00
So it must be below $ 299.00 but I would say not less than $ 140.00 if you really gonna buy it.
Oh on the greyhound station in Houston (black marked) a SW was offered to me (I didn't even ask for a gun) for $ 400.00
