Interesting, but only see the M&P version on the website.

APEX Trigger for SDxVE
I installed the Apex trigger about 6 weeks ago. I removed it two weeks ago. While the OEM trigger was removed, it was trimmed and polished. Now that it has been reinstalled, the weapon is smooth and enjoyable.

I like the feel of the trigger. Hopefully the new flatty is as good on the SD as it is on the M&P.

Which is the "it" that was reinstalled and made the weapon smooth and enjoyable? The Apex or the "trimmed and polished" OEM trigger?
I just want to be sure of which trigger you now like.
Thanks

I like the trigger from Apex as does the wife. Waiting on spring kit to lower the pull for her. She prefers the SD9VE to my Sig P250, to me both are a pleasure.

I emailed Apex about the new flat faced trigger and was told they couldn't discuss a release date at this time. Acted like it was real hush hush.
I hate it when a company will intro a new product as Apex did in the linked video, then go mum on it.

They probably do that to build suspense and create a pent up demand, so they can sell more of them when they do finally get around to it.

I spoke to Apex today and the nice lady that I spoke to said that there was only the poly trigger that we know and love. They said just keep an eye on the newsletters for any new product info.

If enough of us ask, maybe they will get on with it faster?

I agree. I'd install that right now if they said it's available for sale. I emailed them two separate times linking the video and blog posting asking when we will see production. I'm sure I will get a fluff answer but it's worth a try.

The response I received today after emailing them...
Hi Ken,
You are correct, we did say that and we are still working on that trigger. Please sign up under the “contacts” tab on our website to be one of the fist to know when it will be released.
Thank you for contacting Apex and please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
Thank You,
Wendy Hudson

Response I got from apex on Dec 26th was no time table on its release. I asked if the project had been cancelled and was told somewhat of a fluff answer without actually answering me. One can only hope it gets released soon.

Probably want to sell out their stock of old triggers, first.

UPDATE FOR APEX SD FLAT FACED TRIGGER (1-6-2017)

I asked for a "guesstimate" of when they might be available for purchase, and he said he did not know, that it could be MONTHS OR MORE, and not to get my hopes up. So i think the best thing to do would be to sign up for their newsletter, and then we will be notified when we can buy one of these awesome triggers. Untill then , I'm just going to order the SD Enhanced Trigger, and use it with the Apex Spring Kit that I have already installed. One more company to check out that makes products for the SD, SD VE, and SIGMA lines of Smith and Wesson pistols, is Galloway Precision. They have +1 and +3 round magazine extensions, a lighter SEAR SPRING (for $5.00!) that Apex dosent have in their SD Spring Kit, and a bunch of other great parts.
