Yes I saw a vid of one you use with a Glock lower .
I also have to ask why ?
I am sure they are not cheep, why not just put that money toward a rifle & have both ready to go all the time ?

If you are looking for an Adaptive Carbine Platform where you attach the whole pistol with the picatinny rail into an upper receiver like assembly, you should be good with one that was made for Glocks. The Sigma/SD/SDVE series is designed close to the Glock pistols so they should fit. SIG Sauer also had an ACP in the past and they stated that it would fit any mid size pistol with a picatinny rail.

Be also aware that if the ACP comes with a buttstock (fixed or foldable) you are going to make a SBR out of your pistol and would need to follow the NFA rules. I would check with the ATF before I order to make sure that I won't get in trouble for not following the right procedure.

I've been following this thread but just can't understand why one would want to make a pistol into some sort of simulated rifle, actually an illegal rifle, i.e. SBR, which requires a $200 license and registration just to own.

I've owned rifles over the years and enjoyed shooting with them, and now enjoy shooting pistols, but can't grasp the notion of why one would want to convert one into the other.

Maybe someone here can explain the mindset of this notion.

Not knocking the OP, but after looking at the kit Smith61 referenced, I'm wondering the same thing. Why?

Perhaps not any more. While we have been posting daily, the OP hasn't been heard from.

I hope he has the courtesy to say thanks to everyone and tell us what he decided to do.

With all the discouraging comments, can you blame him?

Maybe the various comments saved him from making a mistake.

Get yourself a Glock 17 and a Kel Tec Sub 2000 that uses the same mags.
