Nice! I've thought about giving my SD9VE the same treatment with Flitz and a dremel.

How much time do you have invested?

couple hours by hand with mothers.
bought some buffing wheels for my drill the other day,another hour or so on them.probably a half hour with dremal in the serations

Try a small felt polishing wheel on your Dremel tool with some Mother's Mag Polish.

It'll do wonders in short order.

thats what i was running on the dremel.
i think it'll take wet sanding to get it mirror. i can see very fine pitting in the metal
