I've always found night sights hard to see except in very dark conditions, but I've always wondered why I would want to shoot if I can't see the target.

I saw the straight eight sights while looking at new 1911's , I think these were Heinie. Watched a video that explained why he thinks it is better & faster lining up 2 points than three.
I have been to the range just once but I do think I like them.
I am not about to spend that kind of money on these or other night sights. I found this glow in the dark paint & decided to give it a try. I like the orange color but the glow is useless.
I think the front sight is good but I'm going to redo the back dot.
