Homemade traction grips, M&P factory white dot sights, Streamlight TLR-1s, for HD

Traction grips on sides, TruGlo TG231MP sights, usually in a K Rounds OWB pancake

-My SD40VE. She's my EDC pistol. I run either Federal aluminum or Freedom Muntions 180 gr reloads through it for practice, and Hornady XTP 180gr hollow points for carry. And I always have my Kershaw Cryo clipped in my front pocket too.

Finally got around to taking some quick pics. I only have my phone camera so they aren't amazing. And the gun is still 100% stock, though I am going to replace the guide rod.

My Stock SD9VE.

The ammo I've bought so far to take to the range. Mags loaded, (Except for that 16th round, lol, but that's another post.)

Welcome to the club. Yes it is normal with quite a few different .40 S&W pistols. It's also infamously known as the Glock Bulge. My SD40VE puts a small smilie bulge in the brass. Some pistol are worse. It has to do with the design of the feed ramp support. All is well and enjoy shooting your new pistol.

Matt

Enjoy that new pistol. While I haven't shot the 9, I EDC my SD40VE. Never used TulAmmo either, but I've burned through quite a lot of the Federal Champion, and I found it to be pretty accurate.
