- but I have been tempted by the SD9 so I am curious to see if anyone has both an SD9 and a 6906 and, basically, what differences do you find, which do you like better, etc.
The 6906 is a soft shooting, tribute to craftsmanship that is a receptacle for all the good adjectives you can throw at it.
However, I wanted a dedicated HD gun with no decocker/manual safety and a trigger that needed a little "influencing" as, while engaged in a sensory overload situation, I wanted no AD.
The 6906 resides in the safe while the SD resides in my night stand.
