SD40 Conversion
Anyone know of an aftermarket barrel available to convert to a 357 SIG?

I think the closest thing would be a Glock 23 .357 conversion barrel

I have been waiting almost 4 years for a 9mm conversion barrel for my SD40VE. I feel your pain.

You can stop waiting, because the SW and SD pistols will not convert to 9mm. The magazine wells and magazines are different widths. SW and SD use the same magazines, and they do not interchange between .40 and 9mm.
If you can find a .357 SIG barrel for the SD, it uses the same magazines as the .40.

Storm Lake used to make a conversion barrel; don't know if it's still available.

I own an sd40ve and Im wondering for employment purposes, if I can swap out the .40 barrel and use a sd9ve barrel? Also use the sd9ve magazines.. Is this possible?

No, the mag wells and magazines ARE NOT THE SAME WIDTH as I posted just above. The 9mm is more narrow and will not reliably lock in, just as the SWs, which use the same magazines.
Only the M&P series uses the same width for the mags in 9 and .40, which do not fit in SDs either.

Not only are the 9mm magazines narrower but you would have to change the magazine release since they are different between the calibers.
