I just found this forum and was looking for any info on magazines for the SW9F. Been to a lot of websites trying to find 1 or 2 more of these magazines.

Any of the SW9, or even the SD9 magazines will fit and function in the SW9F. The only functional difference is the baseplate, which is thinner and differently shaped on the new magazines.

Conversely, using the older SW9F magazines in the newer guns may require either switching the baseplates, or thinning the old one so the magazine fully locks in.

Various springs have been furnished with the magazines to give various capacities, including the dreaded 10-rounder.

Are you looking for the factory one that has the slightly thicker base plate and that is marked 17 round?

Thanks for the responses. The factory 17 round would be nice, however, if the 16 round SW9VE mag is compatible then that will work just fine.

I bought this brand new in 2004, the dealer was not able to sell it before the AWB so it sat in the safe for 10 years. I think it was the best $200.00 I have ever spent.

I just received the two 17 rd SW magazines I ordered from Natchez Shooting Supplies. They had some of the best prices I found.

Thanks FMCDANIEL3, I just checked them out. They had the 17 rounder for the M&P and that was out of stock.

So that means they didn't have them?

That means I bought them all.
