Any one have any recommendations for a tactical light that is bright and will work good on my SD9VE?

This is a good sale, on a good brand, from a good retailer.

I got this one from Amazon. ADE Advanced Optics 200 lumens. Very nice construction, all aluminum from what I can tell. A very tight fit on the rail....it may be a problem when/if I try to take it off.

Oh yeah...mine was $23. I couldn't justify spending $100 on a streamlight even though I know they are awesome lights. If I was using this light every day and carrying the gun every day I would have spent the money on a streamlight. But to have it sit in my nightstand and probably never get turned on, I was fine with my decision.

For casual use, there's tons of em on ebay, for about $18. Search 'tactical gun light'. The ones that spec a CR1 battery are shorter than the light in post #4 and easily fit an SD rail. They also work a good long while with a 15266 cell, if you're into rechargeable lithium batteries.
