Default My wife won a SD9VE

Of all things, my wife won a SD9VE at a school raffle. I have enjoyed my M&Ps and Glocks over the years and for the last few months have been eying the SD line. So wow, now there is a SD in the house. Got it home, loaded it up and we both shot it. The grip and ergonomics are great. The trigger is not so good. It seemed so stiff I didn't think my scale that goes to 12 LBs could possibly measure the trigger pull. It could, 9-4 oz. Installed the Apex trigger and spring kit and dropped the pull to 6-0 oz. Best of all it feels better. Non of this could be a surprise to you folks but it is new and fun to me. Today we will shoot it with the upgrade.

Well, move to north Georgia where we have good schools. Our county voted 85% ok in the last election. Shot the SD today with the trigger job and all is good. Seems to shoot 6" dueling tree plats at 33 yards with a 6 o'clock hold. All my hand guns with fixed sights shoot from 6 o'clock to point of aim to 12 o'clock. Drives me nuts. Going to scribe notes on the side of my pistols.

Stock trigger gets better with use. My SD eats any ammo I have put in her and just asks for more. Foreign, domestic, steel, alum., brass, 115, 124 gr. just keeps eating it up.
