Sd9ve sights off
I've noticed my sights are off...if I aim a touch low and to the left I'm in the bullseye every time. Anyone else have this issue? Being they are fixed sights any way to correct the problem? Thanks Anthony

How would you describe your level of "handgun shooting experience"?

A shorter front sight will raise POI. The rear can be moved to correct windage.

Hits that are down and to the left are pretty common with striker-fired pistols, and this afflicts a lot of new shooters as well as more experienced shooters who get in a hurry. It is related to pushing the gun to the left a bit - presumably by tightening the fingers - at the end of the trigger squeeze (for right handed shooters). If you look at your grip, and simulate a trigger squeeze (without the pistol in your hand), you can see the trigger finger moves to the left the further it goes, because of the geometry of the fingers. The other fingers move sympathetically to the left with the trigger finger, too -- pushing the pistol in that direction.
Probably better to work on the trigger stroke before altering the position of the front or rear sight on the slide. I struggled with this a long time, with several different pistols, but it has gotten better with practice.

I Had The Same Issue
I had the same issue. Finally, while shooting next to a guy who was hitting bulls eyes every-time, I asked him to take a few shots with my SD40VE. While his groupings were not as tight as with his gun, they were still good and not the consistent low left I was experiencing. Thus, its not my gun that is shooting low left but me. The guy was kind enough to let me take a few shots with his Walther PPS and I was much more accurate and no low left shots. I am suspecting that the long/heavy trigger pull has something to do with it. I just installed the Apex Spring and Trigger and will be taking the gun to the range tomorrow.

UPDATE: Had the SD40VE at the range today and the Apex spring kit and trigger have made a huge improvement. No more low and left. Grouping of 14 shots was pretty tight at 7 yards: 3 inches X 4 inches.

I thought my sights were off when I got my SD0VE a couple of years ago. When I learned to properly shoot, they are fine. Go to Youtube and search for low and left. Some of the videos are good and some are no so good but you can learn to shoot accurately by taking their advice. I didn't have a problem with my single action shooting with revolvers or other semi-automatics but I did with my first DA striker fired gun.
