Default Buying Canadian sd9ve barrel in the US

I was wondering if it's possible to buy a Canadian length sd9ve barrel so I can have the end threaded for a suppressor. Emailed s&w and no response.
Thanks

That is because they are notorious for not responding to E-mail CALL Customer Service, 800-331-0852, listen for the prompts and push the right buttons and you will get seone to actually talk to!

Are the Canadian SD9VE barrels longer than American?

I'd like to do this also if that's the case.

Only worry I would have is the barrel is a tilt barrel. So wouldn't it upset the firing ergonomics with a suppressor on it without changing slide spring to a proper weight to compensate?

US barrel is 4 inch. Canadian barrel is 4.25 inches. Unsure if that's enough extra barrel length to even have threads installed or if I would have to mod the pistol beyond just threads. Kinda just thinking out loud and trying to bounce ideas off of people with more knowledge on the subject.

I'm no can expert, but I'd wonder if 1/4" of threads would
be enough to hang a 9mm can.

Most threaded barrels are only about .25" longer on M&P or Glocks. Would like to get one for my SD9VE as well, after cans are removed from the NFA.

I don't know what barrels everyone else is looking at, but the Storm Lake threaded barrels for the M&Ps are all 0.7" longer than the non-threaded barrels (Stock and Storm lake).
Storm Lake does not list barrels for the SD.

You will have to use a booster with any "browning tilt barrel" system. So no need to change spring. Be Safe,

Interesting. I was always under the impression they were only a quarter of an inch or so longer. Would like to know the length of the M&P9 Factory threaded Barrels.

If you find a factory S&W M&P 9mm THREADED barrel, I'd like to see it. The only ones I've seen are on the .22s and the 9mm revolver. Have never seen them listed, either. The Victory .22 threaded barrel is the same length as the non-threaded. They just thread about the last half inch and set the sights back.

Was just watching a video on youtube with Smith & Wesson and they make a threaded barrel for 9mm but it's doesn't come standard.
