I saw the original thread on the M&P page for the Shield 9mm mags but then discovered that they also had SD 9mm mags on sale for the same $9.99 + shipping. I don't even have a 9mm SD (or Shield) but thought I would tip my toe in the water on this deal - that sometimes leads to me getting a new gun . Well, the package arrived today and contained new mags in S&W packaging so I thought it was worthy to post here for the SD owners to check out.

PS: I was charged $11.95 for shipping 10 mags, so each really cost me about $11.19. A bargain for any metal mag.

They are making it up with SD40 mags. 51.95 ouch

This is something I do not understand. I have a Tri Star C100 ...( CZ75 clone) and the same mag is used with either a 40 cal or 9mm pistol. Why can this not be done on the SD9VE?

Because the SD40 and SD9 are not the same size, like the Glock 17 and 22 or the M&P9 and M&P40. The SD40 is a wider than the SD9.
I have used S&W 4006 magazines in a 5906 but you have to grind off the nub that prevents 4006 from being inserted in 9mm frames.

I guess they didn't watch their sales flyer dates closely - I placed my last order on 4/30 (see post above yours). Buy them while you can - over 2x as much anywhere else.

At that price, how can you go wrong. I found my Sig P290RS mags on sale, only problem, even on sale at $10-15 off they were $24.99 plus shipping. Cost me $10 more for 2 Sig than 4 SD9VE.

Well, stick a fork in it... they are done. Just checked again and they are now out of stock.
