Thanks BlackTalonJHP (Grips)
BTJHP, I finally was able to put my grip inserts on my SD9 this evening. And, let me tell you, they sure do make my SD9's grip so much better!

Looks good! I've been playing around with a smooth stick on grip on the left side for my SD9 that I carry IWB up against my skin, we'll see.

I just recently bought a FS M&P 1.0 from BUD'S GUNS. Do you have a grip insert made for that grip?

I haven't felt the need for a stick on grip for my M&P's because I think they are a little less slippery than the SD series. I do have a Hogue backstrap insert/sleeve that I tried but didn't like (it's discontinued I think). My big complaint about the M&P is the texture under the trigger guard and so once I smooth that out, I'm pretty happy with the gun.
Also the M&P styling makes it more difficult to cut something that will look and feel right.
There's always Talon grips but they are kind of expensive.

Have you tried stippling the backstrap? It's a cheap part to replace if you don't like it.

Yeah, the grip can be stippled using a $25 wood burning tool...and if you don't like it, order some new grips from S&W or Speed Shooter Specialties. No harm to the gun. I haven't seen any after-market grip cover for a FS M&P....
If you want to buy a stippled grip...drop me a note, I may be able to help.
